All homes are unique. Each of us have our own special little touches that we like to add to make the homes we live in reflect our personalities and preferences. Our bespoke conservatories are no exception: we can create conservatories that are perfect for you and your household.
All of our classic conservatory styles can be combined in any formation to make a P, T or L shape conservatory, which really maximises the space on your property. No home is too big or small for a conservatory, which is why our bespoke conservatories are perfect to add to those tricky empty spaces surrounding your house.
If you’ve never lived in a home with a conservatory before, then you’re missing out! There’s nothing better than basking in the light of your conservatory on a warm summer’s day, or socialising with friends as you watch the sunset through the glass panes.
Conservatories are also incredibly practical: they are a great way to let light flood into your property. If your adjoining room to the conservatory is on the small side, adding a conservatory is a great way to create the illusion of a larger area, as the extra light helps open up the space.

What is a bespoke conservatory?
A bespoke conservatory is anything you want it to be! We offer an extensive range of styles and tailored features so you can find the perfect style and size for your home. If you want a more solid construction, why not add dwarf walls and a tiled roof? Or, if you’re looking for a room that radiates with sunlight but your garden is a unique shape, we can make a conservatory that fits your space. Take a look at our brochure to get some more inspiration, or visit one of our showrooms to see some of our conservatories and talk to one of our experts about making your conservatory dream a reality.
Can I put cornices on my bespoke conservatory?
At Britannia we have a wide variety of cornice options. Cornice is Italian for “ledge”, and can elevate your conservatory’s look and give it a real wow factor. We offer anything from single tier cornices, which are ideal for smaller conservatories, to triple tier cornices, which are perfect if you are really trying to make a statement with your bespoke conservatory. Cornices are also a classy way to hide your guttering and give your conservatory clean elegant lines. Contact us if you have questions about adding cornices to your bespoke conservatory and we’ll make sure you get the right ones for your vision.
Can I use decorative glass on my bespoke conservatory?
When you come to us for a bespoke conservatory, we like to put you and your vision first. We offer a huge range of decorative glass, either in classic or bespoke designs. If you want the look of partitioned glass without having to deal with the fiddly cleaning, we provide leading inside the glass panes, so they look great but can also be cleaned with a quick wipe. If you already have a design in mind or if you are looking for inspiration, contact us today and we can help you find some decorative glass that you love!
What is the best material to use for a bespoke conservatory?
The best material for your conservatory depends on what you are looking for. PVCu is the most common material, as it is affordable, durable and insulative, and it comes in a variety of different finishes if you don’t want the classic white look. If you want something a little different, aluminium is a great material for your conservatory, as its strength means that the window frames can be thinner, giving you more light and better views. Timber requires more maintenance, but if you are looking to enhance a period property or if you are limited by having a listed building or live in a protected area, we can find the right solution for you.

Energy saving is incredibly important and so is keeping your fuel bills down. We are continuously looking for ways to make our homes energy efficient and one way is to choose new PVCu windows and doors. Not only will they help to keep your home warmer, they will reduce your energy loss.
Don’t just take our word for it!
Our suppliers conform to strictly controlled and independently monitored Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001, to ensure that everything is done correctly and according to best practise.
Our windows are tested independently by British Standards for security, weather tightness and strength performance. This means that periodically, we have to send them to independent test houses, in order to be tested to destruction.
