Roof Trim & Fascias
-
Give your home a professional finishing touch with our high quality roof trim and fascias. We offer them in a range of colours and styles so you can get the perfect finish to complement your home.
Fascias are the boards that are attached to the bottom edge of your roof at the front and back of your home. They provide support for the lower row of roof tiles, give a solid base to fix guttering onto, and stop moisture from reaching your rafters – which could lead to damp and rot.
Roof trim follows the length of your home and protects your roof from moisture as well as providing an aesthetically pleasing and stylish finish to your home.
Our roof trim and fascias are made to measure for a perfect fit, to ensure your home looks and performs its best for years to come. Choose a dark roof trim and fascias that match your house tiling, a classic white or maybe you’d prefer a bright colour to add a pop of individuality to your home.

Common Questions
What is a fascia?
The fascia is a board that runs along the roofline. It is visible from the exterior of your home and is a way to add an elegant finishing touch, but it also has a practical purpose. The fascia typically holds gutters in place and protects the roof and the interior of the home from moisture or damp. If your fascias are looking worse for wear – wooden ones can easily get damp and rot if they are not properly maintained – it is worth protecting your home by getting replacement fascias. Contact us today for a free, no obligation quote to replace your fascias.
What does roof trim include?
The phrase roof trim actually includes a lot of different products, including fascias, soffits, cladding, guttering and downpipes, but in general the term refers to different types of protection for the edges of your roof. By protecting your roof from the elements and making sure your guttering is effective, you are making sure that no damp enters the roof, which could result in rot and degradation of your internal property structure. If you’re not sure whether your roof trim needs an upgrade, contact us today and organise a friendly home visit, and our expert can let you know whether it’s time for new roof trim
What is the difference between bargeboard, soffit and fascias?
The fascia runs along the lower edge of the roof, protecting the roof from the elements. It provides support for the bottom layer of tiles on one side, and holds up the guttering on the other. The soffit is the part you see most clearly from the ground, and runs parallel to the floor, connecting the fascia to the wall. The barge board, on the other hand, is used on the gable end of a house – this is the front of the house where the wall forms a pyramid shape. Although it is not as important as a fascia for preventing water getting into the house, it can give your house a stylish and elegant look, especially if it matches the colour of your fascia and soffit.
How long do roof trim and fascias last?
Roof trim and fascias can last for years depending on the material they are made from. Most traditional properties have roof trim and fascias made from wood, which if not properly maintained can collect water and start to rot. A lot of roof trim nowadays is made from PVCu, which lasts a lot longer and requires very little maintenance, so unless you love sanding and repainting on a high ladder, we’d recommend the PVCu option. Once these are installed you won’t have to worry about them for many years.
