We offer numerous customisation options for your conservatory. We can provide cornices that are curved or one-, two-, or three-tiered that are available in four standard colours and any RAL colour. Our super-insulated columns can also be added to your conservatory in different colours, panelling, and sizes for more warmth.
Our solid conservatory roofs have multiple design options. They can be fitted with larger spans and door openings, as well as with different glazing options, including shaped, side-shaped, and full-length panels, or even a combination of all three. We also offer performance glazing that can achieve a 1.0 W/m²K U-value and high or low light transmission and solar rejection depending on how much sun your conservatory gets.

How popular are conservatories?
Conservatories are one of the most popular ways to upgrade homes in the UK. Their eye-catching and ornate designs can work equally well on period properties and modern builds. Conservatories were once rather limited, but they now come in a huge variety of shapes, sizes and designs, so all tastes can be catered for. They’re a great way to increase living space, look terrific and can increase property values as well. What materials are modern conservatories made from?
At Britannia, the choice is in your hands! Our expert advisors can suggest materials that they think will work best for you to help you choose. uPVC is generally the most popular option because it is affordable, durable and is available in a variety of different finishes.
Aluminium is another good possibility; as it is stronger than uPVC the frames can be made slimmer, so your garden views are less obstructed. What sort of conservatory should I choose?
It depends on your personal preferences and the nature of your home. For example, Lean-To conservatories are a good choice for smaller homes, while Victorian conservatories are a terrific addition to period properties (although we’d argue they also suit modern homes as well). The best approach is to look at the various designs, consider the style of roof you’d like and combine the two.
